You can build your own three, four, or five-course custom certificate program or choose a defined pathway. Certificate pathways in Strategy & Innovation, and Leadership include three courses curated to maximize their impact and retain flexibility. The Carlson Executive Leadership Certificate includes coaching sessions, which amplify impact and results.

Significantly expand your business acumen and leadership skills with a Certificate of Distinguished Leadership and Business Administration. Create your own certificate pathway, tailored to your specific goals, by taking five courses within three years. Note: This certificate was formerly known as the Advanced Certificate of Excellence in Business.
4.8 - 9.54 Continuing Education Units (CEU)
Accelerate your readiness to take on enterprise-wide responsibility through transformative courses paired with executive coaching from experienced professionals. To achieve the Carlson Executive Leadership Certificate, attend four Executive Education short courses within a three-year period and complete at least four coaching sessions with an executive coach. You can use your own coach or ask to be paired with a Carlson Executive Education coaching partner.

Your Carlson Executive Education coach will be matched to you from a group of executives with years of expertise as thought leaders, consultants, and industry experts. This experience will help you develop enhanced leadership influence and the ability to deliver greater business impact.
This comprehensive program takes a practical approach to develop the critical skills needed by senior leaders. After three in-person modules and two virtual sessions over six months, covering both executive-level business acumen and strategy, participants will receive a certificate. Participants will learn how to navigate a digital-first world, build sound business strategy, assume financial accountability, lead inclusively, and more.
