Herbert M. Hanson Jr. Hall is connected to the Carlson School flagship building via skyway.
Current faculty, staff, and students will need their U Cards to enter a building during University Hours. Current faculty, staff, and students should carry their U Card with them to ensure they have access when on campus.

Public Hours

The Carlson School of Management does not provide Public Hours, a U Card is needed to enter the building. Public Hours are not accessible to members of the general public. Visitors, contractors, and vendors, please get in touch with your department sponsor for access.
The Carlson School is located on the University of Minnesota's West Bank Campus, at 321 Nineteenth Avenue South. A skyway connects the building to the 19th Avenue Parking Ramp. The 21st Avenue Parking Ramp is across the street to the southwest. There are also a number of nearby surface lots.

From Minneapolis
Go east on Washington Avenue, which crosses over 35W and becomes Cedar Avenue at the bend in the road. Turn left on Third Street South. The 19th Avenue Parking Ramp entrance is on your right..
From the North
Take 35W South to Washington Avenue South in Minneapolis (Exit 17C). Turn left onto Washington Avenue South and continue onto Cedar Ave. Turn left onto Third Street South. The 19th Avenue Parking Ramp entrance is on your right.
From the South
Take 35W North to the Third Street /U of M West Bank exit. Follow signs for the U of M West Bank. Turn right onto Washington Avenue, which becomes Cedar Avenue at the bend in the road. Turn left on Third Street South. The 19th Avenue Parking Ramp entrance is on your right.
From the East
Take 94 West to the Cedar Avenue exit. Turn right on Cedar Avenue and follow it to Third Street South. Turn right on Third Street South. The 19th Avenue Parking Ramp entrance is on your right.
From the West
Take 94 to the 35W North LEFT exit. On 35W, stay in the right lane and take the Third Street/U of M exit (#17C). Follow signs for the U of M West Bank. Turn right on Washington Avenue, which becomes Cedar Avenue at the bend in the road. Turn left on Third Street South. The 19th Avenue Parking Ramp entrance is on your right.

The lower level includes the Carlson private dining room, food court, and tunnel to Humphrey Institute. - First Floor
The first floor includes street access and the 3M Auditorium. - Second Floor
The second floor includes the Executive Education Center and the skyway to Hanson Hall.
