Volunteer Opportunities
Explore the many ways you can give back to the Minnesota Carlson community through our diverse volunteer opportunities. Whether you’re mentoring students, connecting with alumni, or serving on a board, your involvement makes a significant impact.
With Students
Lend your time to support current Carlson School students. Opportunities include traditional mentorship programs for undergraduates, MHRIR, or MILI students, but also sharing your knowledge with a class or hosting students at your company to learn more about what you do. It is also a great opportunity to grow professionally and build your Carlson School network.
In Your Region - National Chapters
Connect with your fellow alumni across the nation! Carlson School chapters provide networking opportunities, instill pride in their members, and create opportunities to connect back to Carlson. Chapters are currently located in the following cities: Chicago, Dallas, New York City, San Francisco Bay Area.
In Your Region - International Chapters
Serve as an ambassador for alumni internationally! Minnesota Carlson's Alumni Network spans 102 countries worldwide, with Alumni Chapters in China and Warsaw.

Carlson’s affinity networks foster a culture of lifelong engagement and build a community of alumni dedicated to helping one another succeed. The affinity networks program provides opportunities for alumni to network, attend lifelong learning events, advance careers, and build the visibility of the school.

Lend your skills and experience to shape the future of Minnesota Carlson. By joining a volunteer board, you get access to special events, advise the executive team on crucial issues, act as an ambassador to prospective students, mentor emerging students, and much more
For Your Reunion Class
Volunteers are the key to creating a Minnesota Carlson Reunion that is vibrant, enjoyable, and memorable. Members of the Reunion Committee act as liaisons between the Carlson School and their classmates to encourage them to come back to the Carlson they love to celebrate.
Class Gift
Current undergraduate or MBA students interested in building a culture of philanthropy amongst classmates, staff, faculty, and alumni should volunteer for their class gift campaign! Volunteers educate fellow students about how philanthropy affects their student experience and plans and oversees a comprehensive class gift campaign.
