Full-Time MBA Curriculum

The Carlson School Full-Time MBA program is rigorous, hands-on, and global. As one of the first business schools to offer experiential learning as a standard part of its curriculum, the Carlson School is an established leader in preparing students to face the complex challenges of today's global marketplace.

What you'll learn

The Full-Time MBA program comprises of 64 credits completed within two academic years. You'll take coordinated core courses that provide a foundation in managerial disciplines. As you move forward, you will begin customizing your education to fit your career path.

Before the start of your first year, you'll engage in a comprehensive online pre-work program to lay a solid groundwork for the curriculum ahead. This preparatory coursework will cover essential topics such as accounting principles, career assessments, and introductory webinars. Details will be shared with incoming students several months before the program begins.

To kick off the academic year, an orientation session will take place in late August, providing an opportunity to meet your cohort and get acquainted with the campus environment.

Year 1 of the full-time MBA program comprises a rigorous curriculum blending essential courses in strategic management, data analysis, financial accounting, and more.
