Annual Report of Inclusive Excellence Efforts: Academic Year 2022-2023
During the past academic year, the Carlson School took significant steps toward creating an inclusive atmosphere where all can thrive and succeed. This annual report details a variety of the school’s efforts in DEI both inside and outside the classroom, from reimagining coursework to building community partnerships.

1st Tuesday Speaker Series - Joe Nayquonabe
Joe Nayquonabe, CEO of Mille Lacs Corporate Ventures, discussed his business philosophy, the growth of Mille Lacs Band's business portfolios, and the connection to his community. Nayquonabe, '11 MBA, spoke during the Carlson School of Management's virtual 1st Tuesday event.

Angela Spranger
Angela Spranger is the inaugural Senior Diversity Officer for the University of Minnesota's Carlson School of Management and the Center for Inclusive Excellence founding Director. Within the school, she works to shift the culture to encourage and deepen a sense of belonging for students, faculty, and staff. In the community, she provides leadership and support through consulting, convening, and collaborating with regional partners to promote inclusive excellence.
