New Carlson School Tenure-Track Faculty: 2023
Assistant Professor Shuyan Wang has recently joined the Carlson School of Management. During her time at PwC, she worked for four years with public utility clients, which sparked her interest in risk and liquidity management. She earned her PhD in Accounting from Duke University and has conducted research on how accounting disclosures shape depositors' beliefs during a panic. This research gained media attention during the recent regional banking crisis.
