Hi! I’m Menolly Pier. I’m a senior majoring in Supply Chain & Operations Management and Spanish Studies with a minor in Business of Healthcare. I’ve done a year abroad through Rotary in Pamplona, Spain in high school and I did a semester in Toledo, Spain during the spring 2021 semester. I love traveling, meeting new people, and learning new languages (I speak 3 ½ languages). I’m the current co-president of GLOBE and have loved my time with the org.

Miya Molina
Hello! I’m Miya Molina studying Marketing and Management Information Systems. I hope to study abroad Spring 2024 in Japan! I have always loved learning about new cultures and trying new things! With this, it's amazing that GLOBE gives the opportunity to meet so many people from all over the world! I can't wait to create more memories this next semester!

Hi everyone!! My name is Berit Erickson and I’m a senior double-majoring in Marketing and Human Resources with a minor in International Business. I studied abroad in Oslo, Norway this past spring and also spent a year in Basel, Switzerland as a Rotary exchange student in 2017-2018. Both times, I met the most wonderful people and had the most life-changing experiences. It makes me so happy to be a part of creating the same joy and experiences for students in Minnesota!

I am Callie Stevermer and I am a senior majoring in Management Information Systems and minoring in International Business. My international experience was an amazing semester abroad this Fall studying in Warsaw, Poland!

My name is Audree Ginsburg and I’m a senior studying finance and international business. I studied abroad for a week in Belize, a semester in Switzerland, and I will be studying abroad in Argentina and Chile for 2 weeks in January. I guess you could say I really enjoy meeting people from different cultures and traveling to experience new cultures!

Hi! I’m Masha Feldman and I’m a senior double majoring in Accounting and Marketing and minoring in International Business and Business Law. I studied abroad in London for the Spring 2022 semester and had an amazing experience! I was also an exchange student in Australia in 2018-2019. Hey! I’m Nick, and I’m majoring in Supply Chain Management as well as International Business. Next spring semester I am studying in South Korea, and I’m really excited to finally use my years of learning the language! I am looking forward to planning some great events with Ilwad and meeting all of the GLOBE buddies and incoming international students. Hello! My name is Nate, I am a junior here at Carlson and I am studying MIS with a minor in Computer Science. I was fortunate enough to have my international experience in the summer of 2023 in Copenhagen, Denmark. This is my first semester being directly involved with GLOBE but I have been friends with both GLOBE exchange students and buddies nearly every semester I've been at Minnesota! I am so lucky to be a part of an organization that brings together so many unique people from different backgrounds. I look forward to a great semester!

I joined GLOBE because it felt like a fun way to meet people that find exploring the world exciting and meet others that are from different parts of the world.

Hi, I’m Noah, and I am a Junior majoring in accounting and minoring in Finance and English. I studied abroad for a week in London to study Shakespeare with a class I took about him, it was an amazing experience. I plan on studying abroad again for a semester at some point here. In my free time, I enjoy working out, crafting, and lounging by the beach. Participating in GLOBE has always been a highlight of my time in college, and I am excited to continue my involvement.

Hello, my name is Aleah Anderson! I’m one of the Co-Presidents of GLOBE and have been involved with the program for three years! I am currently a Senior at the University of Minnesota, double-majoring in International Business and Management Information Systems. I grew up in a suburb 20 minutes from campus, so I can provide plenty of recommendations for local activities! I have a deep passion for global cultures, intercultural communication, and socializing in general, so GLOBE is perfect! During the spring semester of 2025, I studied abroad in Barcelona, Spain at Universitat Pompeu Fabra and can’t wait to go back one day. My hot take is that despite being a pistachio lover, Dubai Chocolate is overrated. Finally, I am trilingual-ish. I also speak Spanish, and some Korean.

Hey, my name is Jonathan and I’m a Co-President of GLOBE. I’ve been a buddy since the start of 2024 and spent last semester studying at Hitotsubashi University in Japan. My majors are Marketing and International Business, and I studied Japanese for a couple years before studying there so I’ll be minoring in that. I’ve spent my whole life in Crystal, Minnesota and my hot take is that beans on toast is a top 3 breakfast food.

I’m originally from Wisconsin, and my hot take is that pineapple on pizza is really good (the more pineapple, the better!). I also speak Russian and am learning French.

Hi! I’m in my fourth year at Carlson (senior and second year master's student), majoring in Human Resources through the integrated degree program. I was born in New York, but grew up in Ashburn, Virginia, a suburb of DC. During summer 2023, I studied and interned in Cape Town, South Africa which was actually my first HR internship! My hot take is the only correct way to eat a bagel is in a bagel sandwich (maybe its the New Yorker in me).

Hi, my name is Denise Pizarro, and I am currently a senior majoring in International Business and Marketing. I was born and raised here in Minneapolis, and last fall (2024), I had the opportunity to study abroad in Milan at Bocconi University, which was an incredible experience. I speak Spanish, which made it a bit easier to pick up Italian, and I’m excited to continue learning the language—I'll be taking an introductory Italian course this spring.
