Gary S. Holmes Center for Entrepreneurship
The Holmes Center is the hub of entrepreneurship and innovation at the University of Minnesota that inspires, educates and connects the next generation of Minnesota's entrepreneurs.
The Holmes Center mobilizes the community and provides support for emerging entrepreneurs, both within and outside the University, through experiential courses and engaging outreach programs.
MIN-Corps
MIN-Corps develop talent and catalyzes technology commercialization across the University of Minnesota through a series of courses, workshops and bootcamps.
MIN-Corps has been a site for the National Science Foundation Innovation Corps program since 2014, and is a partnership of the Holmes Center, College of Science & Engineering and the Office for Technology Commercialization.
UMN Technology Commercialization
University of Minnesota Technology Commercialization facilitates the transfer of University technology and ideas to license companies — both establish and startup — for the development of new products and services that benefit the public good, foster economic growth, and generate revenue to support the University's mission.
Minnesota SBIR/STTR (MNSBIR)
The Minnesota SBIR/STTR Assistance Office (MNSBIR) is the Governor’s designated resource to deliver free, confidential business and technical assistance to startups and small businesses to access non-dilutive research and development funding from the annual $3.7B Small Business Innovation Research (SBIR) and Small Business Technology Transfer (STTR) programs.
