The Carlson School of Management gives you a simple, supportive path to a Master of Applied Business Analytics degree. You'll complete a user-friendly online application, and our admissions team can assist you every step of the way. There is no GPA requirement for applicants, and students who earned a 3.0 during their undergraduate studies do not need to submit GMAT, GRE, or Executive Assessment scores.

Master of Applied Business Analytics Admission Prerequisites

Here are the educational requirements to meet before you apply to the online Master of Applied Business Analytics program. Work experience is recommended but not required.

Bachelor's Degree

Admission to the Master of Applied Business Analytics program requires a bachelor's degree from a regionally accredited institution or a comparable degree from an officially recognized college or university outside the U.S.

Competencies

You can fulfill the quantitative and programming requirements through the successful completion of previous college-level quantitative coursework or accepted online Coursera quantitative courses. Professional quantitative and programming experience can also be used to meet the programming competency requirement for admission into the program. All applicants will receive an admissions decision via the application portal, with additional information provided by email and in the application portal.

Admissions Decision Release

You will receive an admission decision within 10 business days of the admissions committee receiving a completed and submitted application to the online Master of Applied Business Analytics program. A completed and submitted application requires all materials to have been received by the admissions committee, such as your transcripts, resume, personal statement, and recommendations. You will receive a communication from the admissions committee when your application has been received and marked complete.

Note that this is a STEM-designated program. Online Master of Applied Business Analytics students cannot be issued an F-1 or J-1 visa.
