About

Stephen Glomb, Ph.D. is a full-time Career Coach for the Carlson School of Management, where he provides one-on-one and group coaching to graduate business students and working professionals enrolled in Carlson's MBA programs (Executive, full-time, and part-time), as well as specialty master's programs in business. He works with both emerging and seasoned leaders to help them advance in their careers, while providing the support and resources they need in order to navigate new roles and encounter new leadership challenges.  

Before shifting his focus to career and executive coaching, he worked as a Talent Assessment Consultant for Target Corporation. During this time, he assessed hundreds of candidates for key executive- and managerial-level roles within the organization, and consulted with business leaders on hiring, promotion, and succession planning. He also partnered with HR leadership to design and implement strategies to optimize employee selection, drive engagement, and promote talent development across the organization.

Stephen is also Executive Coach and Owner of Stephen Glomb Coaching and Consulting, LLC.  His organization offers a full suite of executive and career coaching services to both individuals and organizations, with a focus on working with first-time and emerging leaders, middle managers, and seasoned executives. 

He received his Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from Northwestern University, and holds a Ph.D. in Educational Psychology, Counseling from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.
