About

Scott Rollin is the President and founder of Management Compensation Resources, LLC (MCR) - a Minneapolis-based consulting firm that specializes in compensation and benefit plan design, analysis, funding, and implementation for the key employees of mainly privately-held corporations.

He has been in the industry since 1988 and has experience consulting to corporations on key employee compensation and benefits issues, nonqualified benefit plan security, funding, and plan administration.  Scott has worked with public and private companies - around the country - from a range of industries: basic manufacturing, casualty insurance, financial services, construction, chemical manufacturing, engineering services, healthcare, information technology / services, public utilities, print media / publishing, warehouse and product distribution, non-profits, and general retail.

Prior to founding MCR in 1999, Scott spent eleven years with Mullin Consulting, a national nonqualified benefit consulting firm (now owned by Prudential) and was most recently in charge of their Minneapolis office.  While in college, he spent three years in corporate accounting functions for a life insurance company, also in Minneapolis.

In his personal time, Scott is active in volunteer leadership and fundraising for the American Cancer Society on a regional and national level. He also enjoys golf, travel, wine, boating, and summertime fishing at the family cabin (because ice belongs in your cooler; not under your feet!)  Scott and his wife Lisa live in Victoria, MN.
