About
Brandon Lukach, '04, graduated from the full-time program and now works as director of recruiting for Drip. Prior to that he was director of HR for The Linux Foundation, and director of people at Udemy. He has previously worked at ModCloth, Electronic Arts and Honeywell. Coming from a liberal arts background, Lukach appreciated that the University of Minnesota provided a more theoretical basis than many MBA programs. "I believed strongly that learning the foundational 'why' to be more important to being trained on the 'what'." Lukach says that the program really trained him well on how to handle the microissues that come up in the real professional world. He joined the board to help students find as much value from the program as he did and to assist in building an experience with the school that transcends graduation. "Hone your ability to harness data to add value to the business," Lukach said is his best piece of advice for current students.
