Poets & Quants named Carlson School Senior Lecturer Rand Park one of the Top 50 Undergraduate Business Professors of 2021.

Known for his energetic teaching style and his colorful bow ties, Park strives to capture his students’ attention throughout the entire class.

“My students are curious, hilarious, motivated, and ambitious,” Park told Poets & Quants. “They love discussing and analyzing current events as much as I do, which motivates me to bring interesting cases and examples into my classes.”

Park teaches Corporate Responsibility and Ethics at the undergraduate and executive MBA levels within the Strategic Management and Entrepreneurship department. In addition to business ethics, his expertise lies in higher education corporate relations, foundation relations, and lawyer’s professional responsibility.

While Park doesn’t have a business degree, he has impressive academic credentials: a PhD in Organizational Leadership and Policy & Development from the University of Minnesota, a JD from Hamline University School of Law, and an MA and BA from the University of Georgia.

Park has been with the Carlson School since 2013.
