Biography

Rand Park is a Senior Lecturer in the Department of Strategic Management and Entrepreneurship. He currently teaches and is the core faculty coordinator for Business Ethics, Corporate Responsibility & Sustainability (BA 2005 and BA 2005H, formerly MGMT 1005 and MGMT 1005H). He is also the Program Director for the Public and Nonprofit Management Co-Major for undergraduates.

Prior to his faculty appointment at the Carlson School in Fall 2013, he was the Vice President of Development for the Minnesota Private College Council. Prior to this, he held positions in corporate relations and fundraising at the Carlson School of Management and the College of Food, Agricultural and Natural Resource Sciences at the University of Minnesota.

Rand has won numerous teaching awards at Minnesota Carlson, and in 2021 he was selected as one of the top 50 undergraduate business professors in the country by Poets & Quants. 

He has a PhD from the University of Minnesota, a JD from the Hamline University School of Law and a BA and MA from the University of Georgia. He has held NASD Series 7 and 63 licenses, and remains a member of the Minnesota Bar in good standing.
