Biography
Seulmin Yang is a Ph.D. candidate in Marketing at the Carlson School of Management. Before her doctoral studies, she earned a Master's degree in Statistics from the University of Chicago. Seulmin’s research primarily explores the impact of diverse social issues on consumer's decisions and broader social outcomes, especially governments' sustainable policy and political actions. Her methodological approach combines structural modeling, following the Industrial Organization framework, with econometric techniques. She is adept at employing advanced statistical methods to analyze large datasets, utilizing both R and Python.
