Career Services Provided by the GBCC

Our professional career coaches can help with all aspects of your career development. From defining a business career that fits you best to negotiating job offers, your career coach will be with you every step of the way.

Each year, more than 130 organizations recruit on-campus for internships and full-time opportunities, while another 300 companies use our external job posting system.

Company information sessions are an excellent opportunity for students to make an initial contact with a company representative. We have over 100 companies come on campus and share a bit about their company culture, positions they hire for, and ways to engage. These are excellent opportunities to research various companies that hire at the Carlson school and expand your business network.

The MBA Corporate Reception is a networking event for MBA students and 50+ employers. This cocktail hour reception gives companies their first peek at the talented incoming MBA class, as well as the opportunity to talk with second year MBA students about their internship experience and career goals

The Career Exploration Conference is an annual event for all incoming full-time MBA students, geared to help you become more knowledgeable about career options related to your degree. It's a great opportunity to network with experienced professionals from top national and local companies in break-out panels organized by career field. Over 50 companies and panelists are represented.

Held over lunch and during evening hours, the Carlson School offers 20-30 workshops per year specific to graduate level students' job search needs.
