Mindful Leadership Conference

It’s no surprise that mindfulness is a trending topic as a growing body of research suggests numerous benefits of mindfulness practice. Studies indicate that mindfulness may enhance emotional and physical resilience, improve cognitive functioning, and increase our connection to others.

Carlson Executive Education and the Earl E. Bakken Center for Spirituality & Healing at the University of Minnesota are partnering to host a unique event on Mindful Leadership featuring expert faculty speakers and a panel of industry leaders. Join other professionals from around the state for an afternoon of inspiration and connection as we explore the intersection of mindfulness, leadership, and purpose and how some simple evidence-informed practices can help us navigate our workday and life with greater presence and perspective.

We will also explore how key mindfulness traits relate to essential workplace skills such as emotional regulation, resilience, cognitive flexibility, and communication skills, all of which are critical skills for thriving at work on the individual, team, and organizational level.
