The Undergraduate Business Career Center can help companies grow their recruiting presence on campus. Connect with the Employer Relations team to discuss your hiring needs and how to strategize your involvement through the UBCC.

Register on The Edge

The first step to recruiting at the Carlson School is to register on The Edge, the Carlson School's online recruiting website.  All recruiting activity is managed on The Edge, where employers can post jobs, collect resumes, schedule on-campus interviews, and register for career events and more.

Schedule On-Campus Interviews

The Undergraduate Business Career Center offers 22 rooms for employers to hold on-campus interviews, available during both the fall and spring semesters. To request an on-campus interview schedule, log into The Edge and click on the On-Campus Interview Schedules tab, then select New Interview Schedule Request from the drop-down. The system will walk you through requesting a date, linking a job, and listing qualifications. For more information, read the Request an On-Campus Interview Schedule guide or contact our Employer Relations Team.

Host an Information Session

By hosting information sessions, companies can present information on the organization, promote available positions, and meet potential candidates. Information sessions can be structured as panel discussions, question and answer sessions, or networking time. The most successful information sessions are those in which students can actively participate.

Information sessions are held during fall and spring semesters, usually in conjunction with on-campus interviewing. Be sure to schedule an info session 4-5 weeks prior to your on-campus interview date. Information session requests can be submitted via The Edge, under the Career Events tab. For more information, contact our Employer Relations Team.

Host a table at Snack Stops

Snack Stops, or tabling, is a chance for you to interact with Carlson School undergraduates in a very informal setting. You can chat with students across all ages as they come and go to class, invite candidates to stop by for a quick chat, or interact with new students who could be potential candidates. This program is available during the fall and spring recruiting seasons.

Attend the Career and Internship Fair

The Undergraduate Career and Internship Fair is a great way to build awareness about your company, provide information about available positions, and kick off the on-campus recruiting season. Fairs are hosted in September and February.
