Key Events and Engagement

The UBCC is a resource that provides students, whether in their first semester at the Carlson School or graduating in the weeks ahead, opportunities to prepare for their future career paths. Career Week

Career Week is offered annually in the weeks prior to our fall career fair. Programs are offered throughout the week that provide our students with resources focused on their resumes, networking, and interview preparation.

Major Fest 

Major Fest is hosted for students who are wanting to engage and learn about the various majors available to them and how they intersect with various career paths.

FYSY Conference

The First Year and Second Year Conference is for students to have an increased confidence in their choice of major/minor and to help start building relationships with alumni. This event creates space for networking, individualized learning, and self-reflection.

Carlson to Career Treks

Carlson to Career Treks feature on-site company visits and are a great way to explore career paths and organizations, and build networking connections.

Career Fairs

The Carlson School hosts a fall and spring career fair that is open to our undergraduate students. Fairs are designed to allow companies and students to spend time networking, learning about opportunities, and to identifying the various pathways each company offers to our students.

Information Sessions & Snack Stops
