About
Emily Legan, ’09, graduated from the MA-HRIR full-time program and currently works as a Sr. Human Resources Director at Polaris. Previously, she began her career at Stanley Black & Decker, where she completed their leadership development program and gained valuable early career experience. Legan originally chose to attend the MA-HRIR program because she knew it would provide her with the skills, experiences and network to launch a successful career in HR. While in school, she also built a strong professional network of alumni, classmates and faculty members that continue to be a source of professional development and meaningful connections today. Legan decided to join the CHRLS board as a way to give back and share her expertise with others. The MA-HRIR program meant so much to her professional journey, so she feels compelled to stay involved in the future of the school and program. Legan's advice to current students would be to "always stay open to every opportunity, you never know where it could lead!"
