About
Chris Carlson, '17 is the Manager of Employee Relations at Medica, and has previously held Senior HR Business Partner and HR Generalist roles at U.S. Bank and the University of Minnesota, respectively. Prior to shifting his career to the HR field, Chris was an Operations Manager at Wells Fargo and General Manager at various restaurants in the Twin Cities and Atlanta areas. Along with his Master of Arts in Human Resources and Industrial Relations from the University of Minnesota, he has a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
Chris finds enrichment from employee relations, employment law, performance management, and leadership development. He and his wife stay very busy with their two young children and Aussiedoodle, enjoying live entertainment (music, comedy, sporting events), trying new local restaurants, and enjoying all seasons of the Minnesota Outdoors.
