2 Undergraduates Receive Marketing Awards

Two Carlson School undergraduate students received awards from the faculty of the Marketing Department for outstanding work in the field. Masa Arafa received the 2018 3M Award for Outstanding Scholarship, Leadership, and Service in Marketing and Eungie Cha received the 2018 General Mills Award for Outstanding Scholarship in Marketing.

The awards have been made by the faculty since 1986. They include a $250 prize and the addition of the recipients’ names to an award plaque in the department office.

Arafa is a 2018 graduate of the Carlson School, majoring in marketing and finance. She was part of the University Honors Program, Women in Business, the GLOBE Buddy Program, and the Honors Mentorship Program. Cha is 2018 graduate majoring in marketing and minoring in interdisciplinary design and digital media studies. She participated in the U of M Honors Program, the American Marketing Association, the Korean Student Association, and the Advertising Club.
