Maureen Bausch

All eyes in the sporting world will be trained on Minneapolis next February when the city welcomes the global spectacle that is the Super Bowl. Maureen Bausch, CEO of the 2018 Minnesota Super Bowl Host Committee, will discuss the responsibility of hosting the National Football League’s showpiece event at May’s 1st Tuesday Speaker Series talk.

The event takes place May 2 from 11:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at the McNamara Alumni Center. Tickets are available for $35 ($15 for U of M students), which covers lunch and the program.

Bausch’s talk is titled “Super Bowl LII: Bringing the Bold North of Minnesota to the World.”

Before starting her current role in December 2014, Bausch was the executive vice president of business development for Mall of America. She has also worked as advertising director at Cub Foods and as a fourth-grade teacher in Mesa, Arizona. Her resume includes two Maxi awards, a Clio award, and a spot on Advertising Age’s Top 100 Marketers in the nation list.
