Wednesday, September 12, 2018
Assistant Professor of Marketing Linli Xu has been named a Young Scholar by the Marketing Science Institute. This honor recognizes promising scholars in marketing and closely related fields whose work suggests they are potential leaders of the “next generation” of marketing academics.
Several factors go into the Young Scholar selection process, including recommendations by senior faculty, publication record in what are generally considered to be the top journals in marketing and related disciplines, citations and other measures of research impact, and the judgment of the panel of experts assembled by MSI.
Xu joined the Carlson School in 2012 after receiving her PhD from the University of Southern California. Her research interests focus on the advertising and media and specialize in the automotive markets. Her work has been published in Marketing Science and Management Science.
