Kathleen Vohs Named 1 of the Top Behavioral Economists in the World

Distinguished McKnight University Professor Kathleen Vohs has been named one of the top behavioral economists in the world. Vohs, who holds the Land O’Lakes Chair in Marketing at the Carlson School, was placed on TheBestSchools.org’s “25 Top Behavioral Economists” list, which features some of most well-known academics around the globe. 

Vohs's research specialties include self-control, the hidden costs of decision making, the psychology of money, the difference between a meaningful and happy life, and heterosexual sexual negotiations. She has authored more than 250 scholarly publications and has been the editor of nine books.

TheBestSchools.org is an educational website specializing in school rankings and is a member of the National Association for College Admission Counseling.
