February 24th event will feature student presentations on companies doing business in China and Chile
The Center for International Business Education and Research (CIBER) is hosting an Emerging Markets Symposium on Friday, February 24, from 7:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. in the Atrium.
This symposium will gather business leaders, academics, and MBA students to discuss doing business effectively in emerging economies. The event will feature student presentations on companies doing business in China and Chile, based on their research and recent international visits. Following the presentations, Twin Metals CEO J. Andres Morel, Land O'Lakes SVP and general manager Carol Kitchen, and Anderson Cook, Inc. chair Kim Anderson will participate in a luncheon panel discussion, "Emerging Risks in Emerging Markets."
This event is free and breakfast and lunch will be served. Advanced registration is required by Monday, February 20. No walk-in registrations will be allowed. More information, including how to register, can be found on the CIBER webpage.
