Carlson Master of Science in Finance Named Nation’s 14th Best

The QS World University Rankings has rated the Carlson School’s Master of Science in Finance (MSF) program as the 14th best in the nation. QS–Quacquarelli Symonds–is a premier international higher-education network that connects universities, business schools, and students. Its rankings are determined through data received from schools themselves and information publicly available.

Rankings were determined by employability, alumni outcomes, value for money, thought leadership, and diversity. Among these subcategories, the Carlson School placed fourth in diversity and ninth in alumni outcomes, nationally.

The Carlson MSF is a one-year program designed for early career professionals to transition into or accelerate their careers in corporate finance, security analysis, and portfolio management, investment and commercial banking, and risk management, to name a few. Within 180 days of graduation, 95 percent of 2017 Carlson MSF graduates received offers for employment both in the U.S. and abroad. Graduates now work at Deloitte Consulting, Accenture, 3M, U.S. Bank, Ameriprise Financial, HNA Group, Citibank, and other great companies.
