What are you reading?

The World is Not Ours to Save: Finding the Freedom to Do Good by Tyler Wigg-Stevenson.

Your favorite website?

The Wall Street Journal, relevant.com, and primer.com could compete for a spot as favorite.

Your Dream Job?

Still on the drawing board, but non-profit consulting and leadership development are two areas that have captured my attention. Definitely a work in progress!

Rebecca Bergner

What are you reading?

The Happiness Project—I started reading it at the beach in Tulum, Mexico on a yoga retreat and it brings me back to that vacation whenever I open it!

Your favorite website?

While I would like to provide an intellectual resource, I can’t help but enjoy staying connected to family and friends through LinkedIn and Facebook.

Your Dream Job?

I’m currently working at Target in HR and teaching in the leadership minor at the University of Minnesota. It feels like a dream having the opportunity and ability to do both!

What are you reading?

A lot of my reading is connected to my research. One of my current projects is about people’s moral feelings when they use counterfeit products, so I’ve been reading a fascinating book on the subject of morality and dishonesty: The Honest Truth about Dishonesty: How We Lie to Everyone—Especially Ourselves by Dan Ariely.

Your favorite website?

My current favorite is a personal financial website called bogleheads.org. It’s based on the philosophy of indexing pioneered by John Bogle, founder of The Vanguard Group, one of the largest financial firms in the world.

Your Dream Job?

My expertise is in the area of branding, so my dream job would be vice president of brand development for Chanel. The employee discount on purses, jewelry, and clothes would probably be worth more than the salary!
