What are you reading?

The Soul of A Chef by Michael Ruhlman, which explores the profession by observing candidates of the Certified Master Chef exam: rising star Michael Symon at Lola, and (my personal favorite) renowned chef Thomas Keller at the French Laundry.

Your favorite website?

I love the The New York Times, I am obsessed with J. Crew, and I’m constantly searching YouTube for my next flying trapeze trick.

Your dream job?

I’ve yet to decide on my dream job. Perhaps CEO of something creative, social, and purposeful. Restaurant owner, trapeze artist, event coordinator, and tree hugger, with a twist of screenwriter/producer/director. Translation? I just want to keep working for McKinsey, because I’m relatively convinced I can do all of these things with them.

 What are you reading?

Most of what I read is directly work-related. One general interest book I read recently was How to Create a Mind by Ray Kurzweil. It is an interesting blend of fact and speculation.

Your dream job?

Happily, I have my dream job: professor of finance.
