Meet our Graduate Assistants
Strategy Graduate Assistant, Graduate Business Career Center
"I work on projects related to career services and support across Carlson's graduate programs. All of my projects are strategic in nature and involve drawing insights and implications for the team based on qualitative and quantitative data analyses. This is a very challenging and fulfilling role because I get to scope and execute these projects on my own and be creative with my recommendations!"
Graduate Assistant, MBA & MS Programs
"I work as a Professional Program Assistant at the MBA & MS Programs Office under Assistant Dean Phil Miller, MBA & MS Programs. Most often, I'm seen making financial models for different MBA & MS Program scenarios, building surveys, condensing 100s of survey responses into a 10-slide deck used for strategic planning, or plain ol' researching."
Graduate Assistant, Admissions & Recruiting
"Most of my job is involved with connecting potential and incoming students to the Carlson community via student connections, the Admissions Buddy Program, and various Admissions events! What I love most about my job is building community by making those early connections with potential and incoming students and pairing them with people who can speak to the parts of the MBA program that they are most interested in and who they may most identify with."
Graduate Teaching Assistant, Marketing, Brand Strategy, and Strategic Management
"As a TA, I was able to develop my management skills by getting the chance to give constant feedback and ways to improve, project management through course development, and strong communication skills. I loved getting to see behind the scenes and learn from amazing professors who are now lifelong mentors."
