MBA & Medical Doctor

Innovate Healthcare through Strategic Decision-Making

Healthcare is one of the fastest-growing industry sectors in the world. More and more, doctors are called upon to create efficient, effective workplaces in which healthcare is delivered through top-quality care and the best practices of business. MD-MBA students will also have the opportunity to take advantage of the unique experiences offered through Minnesota Carlson's Medical Industry Leadership Institute, which brings together graduate students from across the University of Minnesota to work on healthcare industry problems from the organizational to the political realms.

The MD-MBA Dual Degree program was developed for students who have already been enrolled in the University of Minnesota MD Program. This program serves students who wish to earn an MBA degree as well as their MD.
