Biography

Dr. Roz Tsai is the founder and principal of Roz Tsai Leadership, LLC, an executive coaching, talent management, and leadership development consultancy. Most recently, she served as Vice President of Talent, Learning & Organization Effectiveness at Thrivent, a Fortune 500 financial services firm, where she led enterprise-wide talent strategy, talent management, talent acquisition, learning & development, and organizational effectiveness initiatives.

Previously, Dr. Tsai was Vice President of HR and Chief Learning Officer at Ecolab, overseeing global performance management, career frameworks, and leadership development for its 49,000 employees. She has also held leadership roles at Honeywell, Lawson Software (now Infor), and Northern States Power Company (now Xcel Energy). 

With extensive experience spanning multiple industries, Dr. Tsai is recognized for building high-performing teams and driving sustainable business transformation. A native of Tianjin, China, she earned her undergraduate degree from Nankai University, her M.S. from St. Cloud State University, and her Ph.D. from the University of Minnesota, where she serves as adjunct faculty for both the Carlson School of Management and the Technology Leadership Institute in the College of Science and Engineering.
