Biography
Jason Turkiela is a Senior Lecturer in Finance at the University of Minnesota’s Carlson School of Management. He earned his Ph.D. in Finance from the University of Oregon, an M.A. in Economics from Central Michigan University, and a B.A. in Economics from Michigan State University. His research focuses on organization economics, corporate governance, capital investment policy, and business ethics and has been featured in journals such as the Journal of Corporate Finance and the Journal of Banking and Finance. Professor Turk is also an award-winning teacher with a passion for business valuation and enjoys making complex concepts accessible and engaging to students of all levels.
