HabitAware’s Keen bracelet has been called “one of the first truly second-generation wearables”(IEEE, May 2016). Having personally battled the problem they are solving, their goal is to ensure that no one grows up feeling insecure or bullied for a disorder they have no control over. They are on a mission to positively impact the lives of 30M Americans affected by trichotillomania (hair pulling), skin picking, or nail biting through real behavior change. These under-reported, under-discussed and under-diagnosed mental health disorders are debilitating to those who suffer from them. There are no cost-effective, widely-available solutions for these behaviors until now. Check out their social media below!
