Invasive species profoundly impact the economics of tourism, agriculture, hunting, and fishing. Due to this risk, the public and private sector are making deep investments in mitigation. CD3 Cleaning Stations are user-operated tools designed to reduce the risk of spreading invasive species by providing tools to clean watercraft, recreational vehicles, and be a platform for outreach. The Stations are connected to the Internet of Things (IOT) via sensors and a cellular gateway to collect use patterns, functionality, and assist with operations and maintenance for owners.
