Professor of Strategic Management and Entrepreneurship & Curtis L. Carlson Chair in Corporate Strategy


Myles Shaver is the Professor of Strategic Management and Entrepreneurship at the Carlson School of Management, where he holds the Pond Family Chair in the Teaching and Advancement of Free Enterprise Principles. He received numerous teaching awards for his classes on Corporate Strategy and Corporate Responsibility. His research has been published in leading scholarly journals and he has been invited to present his research at conferences and universities around the world.

He received the Academy of Management Business Policy and Strategy Division’s Irwin Outstanding Educator Award for contributions to MBA and Executive education, the Ross of School of Business (University of Michigan) Distinguished Ph.D. Alumni award, and Poets and Quants includes Myles in their profile of the “World’s 50 Best Business School Professors.”
