Louellen Essex focuses on training and organizational development, leadership, communication, team building, and conflict resolution. She holds a PhD from the University of Minnesota where she studied leadership, psychology, and communication. For over twenty years, she has worked extensively with private industry, government, healthcare organizations, and educational institutions, including Fortune 500 companies. She is a recipient of an American Society for Training and Development Professional Excellence Award for her work in management development. Louellen has co-authored three books on leadership and multiple journal and website articles. In 2010, Mayo Clinic honored her work by designating the Essex Conference Room in the Mayo Graduate School.
