Larry Bourgerie
About
Larry Bourgerie is a Senior Lecturer, Work & Organizations, Carlson School of Management, University of Minnesota. Professor Bourgerie is a dedicated, energetic educator and HR professional with over 25 years of experience in HR and 15 years in teaching at the graduate and undergraduate levels. His vision is to facilitate learning for current and future leaders, managers and organizations to create positive cultures where employees are engaged and organizations can grow and thrive. Larry is known for walking the talk and building effective teams through collaboration and promoting positive employee practices, sense of humor and perspective.
He received his BS in Administration and his Masters in Industrial Relations from the University of Minnesota. Larry is currently serving as the Legislative Director for the MN Society for Human Resources (SHRM), where he speaks to chapters and groups throughout Minnesota on current legislative issues that impact HR professionals.
