About

Connie Wanberg teaches classes involving human resources management, leadership, industrial/organizational psychology, and organizational behavior. In her role as a researcher, she is internationally known for her work on unemployment, job search, and careers. She is highly published in top-tier refereed journals as well as numerous book chapters.

She has worked in several consulting roles for external organizations and has also served in leadership positions at the University of Minnesota, including the chair of the HRIR department from 2006-2009 and 2018-2019 and as the Associate Dean of the Carlson School of Management Undergraduate Program from 2011-2012. Prof. Wanberg received a PhD in Industrial/Organizational Psychology and an MS in Industrial-Organizational Psychology from Iowa State University, and a BS in Psychology from Moorhead State University.
