Undergraduate Minor - Managing People in Organizations

The Managing People in Organizations minor exposes students to the science of managing people and organizational behavior as well as practical techniques. Understanding the actions and attitudes of individuals and groups toward one another and toward the organization is essential for individual and organizational success in the ever-changing world of work.

The Managing People in Organizations minor will help Carlson School students (1) achieve personal and organizational goals through motivation, teamwork, engagement, commitment, influence, positive social interactions, and job performance, and (2) examine and develop their personal styles and capabilities to manage effectively. Pairing functional expertise with effective skills in managing people will better prepare our students to excel from day one in the workplace.
