My Story
I am passionate about being passionate. I have boundless curiosity, enjoy using a creative lens to solve tough problems, and am not afraid to look outside the box to find new solutions. That’s why, in 2013, after working in several technology roles, troubleshooting problems that always had a ‘right’ answer, I knew that I wanted a change and decided to make the leap into an MBA program. For me, it was the best way to take a step back, expand on my business knowledge and experience, and re-focus my career in a direction where my strengths and interests would be best leveraged.
Why Carlson?
I initially applied to Carlson because it was located in the Twin Cities, my home away from home, and I wanted to stay here for graduate school. However, after getting to know the faculty and students at Carlson, it became the obvious choice. The community and support systems here are un-paralleled. I also loved that I would be able to learn from world-class professors and gain experience working on real-life projects in the Enterprise Programs.
