Monday, October 12, 2015

Over 50 full-time MBA student along with staff and faculty gathered to hear David share leadership lessons from both his military experience as well as nearly 25 years with Mortenson Construction.  And of course, with him having responsibility for U.S. Bank Stadium construction, the group enjoyed hearing about progress on the Vikings new home.

Events like these are what make the full-time MBA experience at Carlson so unique and valuable for all candidates.  With over 20 clubs within the MBA Association, students have numerous opportunities to connect with businesses leaders from across the country as well as time to engage with others passionate about similar interests.  And with these clubs being student led, the groups learn to interact with corporate sponsors and apply business fundamentals to add value for all participants.

So from participating in a consulting club boot camp to learning about local craft breweries and everything in between, everyone has an avenue to enhance his or her personal brand.
