Important CIHRCom Dates
Invitations
Official invitation letters are being sent out the first week of September 2019 via email. To participate in the case competition, please stay tuned for more registration information. Registration will open on Sunday, September 1, 2019. There will be a $100 nonrefundable registration fee to enter the competition.Â
Preliminary Round
The written round will run mid-September, and all teams will hear about their results by the end of September.
On Sunday morning CST time, September 15, 2019, all registered teams will be contacted with regards to writing their reports. Teams may select a 24-hour window between September 21 and September 28 to work on the case. Once teams have selected their preferred times to work on the case, they will receive the case at their specified time and will have 24 hours to create a written report and submit it to cihrcom@umn.edu.
This will provide some flexibility for all schools to register while preserving the consistency across all teams (each team will only have access to the case for their chosen 24-hour time frame).Â

Final Round
The top 6 teams will advance to the final round of the CIHRCom competition that will happen on November 14-16, 2019 at the Carlson School of Management at the University of Minnesota, in Minneapolis, Minnesota. The format of the final round is described in great detail under our Rules section. The host school will have its own team at the competition.
