Sri Zaheer Speaking with Andy Sukawaty

Reinventing Business Education

Thursday, December 3, 2015

I recently visited London to meet with our alumni and present the University’s Outstanding Achievement Award to global telecommunications pioneer Andy Sukawaty. I also had the good fortune to sit down with Financial Times for their “Reinventing Business Schools” video series.

At the Carlson School, we have been reinventing the way we deliver business education by focusing on 3C’s: Convenience, Customization, and Career Enhancement. Today’s students are different than those of the past and we are making excellent strides in providing students with greater flexibility, particularly in our Part-Time MBA Program.

As I discuss in the video, new degree programs in Business Analytics, Finance and Supply Chain Management, our new Industry MBA, as well as curriculum changes in existing programs are a direct response to the market. By continually innovating we can provide our students the skills they’ll need to advance in tomorrow’s workforce, not yesterday’s.
