Target Audience

  • All people wanting to hear about and take part in the diversity, equity, and inclusion efforts and conversations happening at the Carlson School of Management

  • Curious learners eager to gain perspective from diverse backgrounds, disciplines, and experiences

  • Community leaders, now or in the future, interested in growing skills to lead diverse teams in their careers and communities

Through Project Emerge initiatives, including a newsletter, speaker series, events, networking, and a mentorship program, the Carlson School of Management at the University of Minnesota strives to amplify the voices of diverse groups of students and alumni. Project Emerge is open to all individuals who are interested in learning about and advancing these efforts. Both Camp Emerge and Camp Ignite alumni are part of the Project Emerge network, as well.

  • The Carlson Connections Program matches current Carlson MBA students with Project Emerge members. This mentorship program cultivates a space for learning about careers in business, understanding business school, and creating meaningful relationships among participants.
