2025 Grand Prize Winner
With more than 14% higher participation than previous records, the 2025 MN Cup competition was one for the record books. This season, 25 companies split more than $400,000 in cash prizes.
AcQumen Medical was the 2025 Grand Prize winner, receiving $100,000 for their work combining ultrasound precision with continuous monitoring to help doctors manage the heart function of critically ill infants and children. Their UltraTrac system delivers real-time, non-invasive insights for better decisions and outcomes supporting a critical patient population.
Swinergy was the 2025 Runner Up, receiving $40,000 for their innovation in converting livestock waste into renewable natural gas and fertilizer using advanced bioreactors.

2025 MN Cup Division Winners
Read about our 2025 Division Winners, who were each awarded $25,000. These 9 teams of entrepreneurs received expert feedback from judges and mentors that aided in the refinement of their business plan, pitching skills, and needs specific to their company.
All nine will compete for the $50,000 Grand Prize on October 6th at the annual MN Cup Grand Finale.

2025 MN Cup Semifinalists
Each spring, judges select the top 90 companies as semifinalists to advance in the competition. These teams are paired with experienced mentors and invited to participate in educational workshops and events throughout the summer. Teams prepare and submit presentations, short videos and business plan summaries to be reviewed by a judging panel of industry veterans.
The teams received expert feedback, sharpened their pitching skills, and overall refined their business plans.
