Mark Murphy
CIO - 3M
Mark Murphy is the Chief Information and Digital Officer for 3M, where he leads all aspects of information technology, enterprise cybersecurity, and digital initiatives, including data and AI. In this capacity, Mark is driving digital transformation across 3M.
Before joining 3M, Mark served as the Vice President and Chief Information Officer of Abbott Laboratories, where he had global responsibility for information technology, including cybersecurity, analytics, and digital. During his tenure at Abbott, Mark also served on the board of Abbott India Limited, a publicly listed company and a subsidiary of Abbott Laboratories.
Previously, during a 13-year career at St. Jude Medical Inc., which culminated in his appointment as Chief Information Officer in 2013, Mark led the company’s SAP transformation and worldwide information technology services.
Mark has more than two decades of experience developing, leading, and transforming global businesses and technology organizations across multiple industries, including industrials, consumer, life sciences, retail, and financial services.
Mark has been a champion of efforts around health and wellness and career success for underserved young adults through careers in the technology field. He currently serves on the boards of MnTech and Genesys Works Twin Cities. Mark formerly served on the boards of Abbott India Limited, Fairview Hospital Foundation, and the American Heart Association Twin Cities Heart Walk. As an executive sponsor for 3M’s Women’s Leadership Forum, Mark advocates for initiatives aimed at attracting, developing, and advancing women at all levels, thereby accelerating their inclusion and growth globally.
Murphy holds a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering from Purdue University and an M.B.A. from Indiana University.
Anjali Bhagra
Physician Lead and Chair, Enterprise Automation - Mayo Clinic
Anjali Bhagra, M.D., MBA is physician executive leader with close to two decades of experience in business transformation, healthcare technologies, and organizational strategy. She serves as the Physician Lead and Chair for the Mayo Clinic Enterprise Automation Department. In this role, she provides strategic direction and execution to enable healthcare transformation via implementation and scaling of AI and intelligent automation initiatives across Mayo Clinic’s destination medical centers, community health system sites and international practices. Dr. Bhagra’s ability to drive aspirational innovation while managing regulatory guidelines and building value has led to significant successes. She also serves as the Medical Director of the Enterprise Office of Belonging at Mayo Clinic. Dr. Bhagra provides strategy and execution to advance inclusion and belonging at Mayo Clinic, the world’s number 1 academic center with over 82,000 employees and a volume of more than 1.3 million patients from 130 countries annually.
She is a professor of medicine at Mayo Clinic and has led in many leadership roles including Vice Chair of Faculty Development for the large academic Division of General Internal Medicine at Mayo Clinic and Education Chair of Integrative Medicine, board member of The Society for Ultrasound in Medical Education (SUSME), member of HIMSS Global Health Equity Network Task Force, Medical Industry Leadership Institute (MILI), Minnesota Medical Association Health Equity Community practice group, and board member National IGNITEMed program and World India Diabetes Foundation.
A well-recognized leader in Medicine, Dr. Bhagra has been recognized with numerous awards including the James J. Lipsky Distinguished Service Award and the prestigious National Kesari Woman of the Year Award in India for her societal contributions towards equity and inclusion. She is co-founder of the Mayo Clinic GRIT (Growth, Resilience, Inspiration, Tenacity) in Medicine and RISE (Reflect, Inspire, Strengthen, Empower) conferences.
Beth Tschida
Chief Technology Officer - Jamf
Beth Tschida is CTO at Jamf (NASDAQ: JAMF) where our focus is on delivering innovative Apple enterprise management and security solutions for enterprises. As CTO, Beth leads a global team of 800+ across AI, engineering, product management, and cloud infrastructure. Together, we enable organizations to seamlessly manage and secure their Apple ecosystems offering solutions employees love and employers trust.
Beth has over 25 years of executive experience in product, engineering and cloud including: Generative AI, software development, security, AI, digital, social, infrastructure management, machine learning, sales, customer service, mergers & acquisitions, greenfield development and SaaS. Recognized as a candid and creative leader who understands business transformation is the convergence of people, process, and technology.
John Avenson
Senior Vice President & Chief Technology Officer - Minnesota Twins
John Avenson oversees and manages the purposes of technology for all disciplines of the Minnesota Twins organization. John and his team develop and deliver baseball, business, and broadcast solutions that elevate the fan experience and team performance. His group creates, implements, and operates innovative technology at Target Field, the Lee County Sports Complex, and the Twins' Dominican Republic Development Academy.
Avenson was named a Chief Information Officer of the Year in 2013 by the Minneapolis/St. Paul Business Journal and in 2018 by the MinnesotaCIO ORBIE Awards. In 2021, John's collaboration with the Large Venue Tech Collective was recognized with a Minnesota Technology Association Tekne award in the Vibrant Tech Ecosystem/Partnership category. In 2024, his team was recognized with a Tekne in Outstanding Achievements in Data Analytics. He currently serves on the Advisory Board for the MinnesotaCIO Leadership Association.
A veteran of the Persian Gulf War, Avenson served with the United States Marine Corps where he maintained aircraft information for squadrons attached to the 3rd Marine Aircraft Wing.
A graduate of the University of Minnesota with a degree in Computer Science, Avenson and his family reside in Minnetonka, MN.
Erik Erickson
Chief Data Officer - Hennepin County
Erik Erickson is the Chief Data Officer for Hennepin County and the Director of the Integrated Data & Analytics Department. Erik provides leadership to advance the use of data in support of county strategies and effective government. He does this by furthering the role of data science, fostering a data informed culture, advancing the responsible use of AI, and helping the county fully leverage its data as both an operational and strategic asset. His leadership and work on integrated data and innovative uses of data in government have been nationally recognized by the National Association of County Organizations. Erik has more than a decade of leadership experience in data and analytics with a background in applied research, program evaluation, and education. He holds a Master’s degree in educational policy and a PhD in organizational leadership, policy, and development from the University of Minnesota. Outside of work, Erik is involved in his community as a cross-country ski coach, high school athletics volunteer, and Panther Foundation board member.
Shub Agarwal
Senior Vice President of AI Products - U.S. Bank
Shub Agarwal is an AI product executive and educator with nearly two decades of experience spanning Fortune 50 companies, Silicon Valley startups and academia. As Head of AI Products for Business Banking at U.S. Bank, he leads initiatives that bridge strategy, product innovation, and enterprise scale.
At the University of Southern California, Los Angeles, he teaches AI and Product Management and leads the AI Trust Initiative, an interdisciplinary effort uniting communication and engineering to pioneer new frameworks for evaluating and building trust in AI systems.
He is the author of the Wiley bestseller Successful AI Product Creation and holds multiple U.S. patents in AI and Generative AI. Shub earned his Master’s degree from Carnegie Mellon University and MBA from UCLA.
