Through a wide range of services, the Carlson Business Career Center assists Carlson School students with all aspects of their career development, and connects students with top companies in Minnesota, across the United States, and around the world.
Career Coaching
Carlson professional career coaches can help you with all aspects of your career development. From defining a career path to negotiating job offers, your career coach will be with you every step of the way. Coaching appointments are available Monday through Friday, and are available in-person, as well as via phone or Zoom. During the academic year, the Career Center offers walk-in coaching services Monday through Friday, generally over the lunch hour.
Company Info Sessions
Company information sessions are an excellent opportunity for students to make an initial contact with a company representative, learn more about potential employers, and expand their business networks. Each year, the Carlson School hosts more than 100 companies on-campus to share a bit about their company culture, positions they hire for, and ways to engage.
Workshops
Held over lunch and during evening hours, the Carlson School offers 20-30 workshops per year specific to the job search needs of graduate students.
On-Campus Interviews
Each year, local and national organizations recruit on-campus for full-time opportunities, while hundreds more use the School's external job posting system, on Handshake.
