Allison Whalen

Founder & CEO - Parentaly

Allison Whalen is the founder and CEO of Parentaly, a comprehensive program that provides pre-leave planning, return-to-work support and manager training through parental leave. Allison started Parentaly after she returned to work from parental leave and found her piece of the business in disarray and her direct reports unhappy. After surveying her peers, she found the #1 complaint and reason for attrition after parental leave was due to career disruption caused by their time away from work. Allison has an MBA from Wharton and previously led the enterprise sales team at Managed by Q, which was acquired by WeWork.
