Biography

Yuanyuan is a PhD Candidate in business administration with a specialization in Supply Chain and Operations at Carlson School of Management, University of Minnesota. She is co-advised by Prof. Karen Donohue and Prof. Necati Ertekin

Her research focuses on behavioral operations with a particular emphasis on utilizing insights from consumer behavior to enhance operational decisions in the retail sector. She employs tools from econometrics and behavioral sciences to address operational design problems that arise within two distinct retail contexts: (i) open-box product merchandising, and (ii) curated subscription services.

She is on the 2023-2024 job market!

She will be at the INFORMS 2023 Annual Meeting in Phoenix during October 15th - 18th and the DSI Annual Meeting in Atlanta during November 18th - 20th. Her presentation at the INFORMS conference is scheduled on October 17th (Tuesday) between 8 AM – 9.15 AM in room CC-North 131C (view session).
